29th December 2003 A Double Rainbow!

In reading to Robert about rainbows a few days before this, it mentioned that the second rainbow of a ``double'' rainbow has its colours inverted. I didn't know *THAT*. After thinking about it, it makes sense, the refraction happens ``both ways'' after all, but I had never taken note. Then came this rather spectacular rainbow, complete with inverted, but much feinter, second rainbow!
